Another day has come to pass,
Within this house, my time I bide.
Today's the same as twenty days last,
Time creeps by slowly, day and night.
Tomorrow will soon come my way,
Telling me to wait 'til all is done.
A wait that makes each passing day,
Longer than the previous one.
The Long Wait.
