The Envoy

The Envoy to the Middle-east,
Wrote a story he couldn't resist.
To tell the world of things at home,
He spun a tale in a twisted tome.

With subtle lies in half-truths planted,
A deceiving story was cunningly crafted.
Fear he mongered, hatred he stirred,
By simple-minded audience, he wished he'd be heard.

Aspersions cast, accusations hurled,
A tapestry of lies was gradually unfurled.
He kept writing his story, he wouldn't desist,
He's the Envoy to the Middle-east.

The Envoy.
