When we were little children
We wished we had the freedom
To have the tid-bits that we liked
Without having to take our dinner
When we were lively teenagers
We wished we had the freedom
To go out anywhere, anytime we liked
Without having to ask for permission
When we are all grown up
We wish we have the freedom
To buy and own anything we like,
Without having to count our gold and silver
Now, we're under orders to stay at home,
We wish we have the freedom,
To take a walk in the park with loved ones
Without having to fear the penalty of the law.
O for the return of freedom
That we have often ignored
And taken for granted.
Freedom
